Mr. Francis Garraud has been one of our winegrowing partners for the last 25 years. This cognac comes from his estate based in Chérac, in the Borderies growing area. Lot.91 comes from a harvestmarked by climatic conditions which made history in the Cognac vineyards. Following a very cold winter, the spring was mild and ideal for the vines.. Unfortunately the months of april and may saw some very severe frosts which led to 1991 being the worst year in terms of yield.
On the nose, there is a subtle aromatic release of fresh violet, dates and white chocolate.
On the palate, this cognac reveals notes of cardamom and smokey oak.
The high strength of this cognac provides a tasty explosion in the mouth with a hint of liquorice.
